#PopeinPhilly2015

I was recently in Philadelphia for the 2015 World Meeting of Families and to see Pope Francis. I've been so busy since I came back that I have yet to download any of my camera photos, or even to give our the little mementos that I brought back. Nonetheless, it was an amazing, unforgettable experience.

I was very close to actually staying back and having my husband go on this trip for me, due to me being almost 7 months pregnant when I took the trip. But, thankfully, I didn't back away. And it was truly the experience of a lifetime!

I will post more about the places we visited and the experiences we had while we were there. For now, I'll leave you with this photo.

My hubby said I couldn't visit Philly and miss this opportunity.  ðŸ˜Š

Touch-Up Those Roots

We all love that feeling right after we get a new haircut or new hair color. Your hair feels amazing and the color is so bold and spectacular.  We go home and can't stop staring at it and running our fingers through it. We even take pictures and send to our best friends.  Some of us might even share them on social media.

Our hopes are that we can maintain that color as bright and vibrant as it looks straight out of the salon. We ask our hair stylist for tips on how to maintain the color and follow their advice. We buy hair products and special shampoos to keep the style that we want until it is time to touch up the roots, but the truth is that if we don't take extra measures....... it will fade away.

Hello!

My first post,  I'm so excited!

There is always so much on my mind and in the hustle and bustle of an ordinary day,  I maybe get to share about 25 percent of my thoughts (and that's aiming high). I'd like to share my thoughts with the world,  with anyone who cares to read them.

Everything that happens around me always finds its way back to the same source,  our Lord and Savior,  Jesus Christ. That is mainly what my posts are going to revert back to--the strong influence and presence that Our Lord has in my life.

I can feel His presence around me every day.  Whether I choose to embrace it is another story......

I'm a mother of five young children and finding time to pray and contemplate His greatness is not an easy task.  But,  it is something that I have made a solemn vow to improve on.

He deserves that much from me <3
